-10 additional shows in Paris at the 1465-seat Casino de Paris

- shows in France, Belgium & Switzerland Fall 2019

- the Canadian tour continues until October 12.

After storming the beaches of Normandy in 2017 (actually it was the riverbanks of the Seine), Sugar Sammy’s devilishly debonair looks and charm have been seducing audiences in France and around the world. To date he has performed 240 shows in Paris and his European tour has sold over 75,000 tickets. Fans in 32 countries have seen 1,700 Sugar Sammy shows so far!

In addition to his tour dates this fall in France, Belgium & Switzerland, he returns to Paris in the spring at Casino de Paris for 10 nights (Tuesday to Saturday, March 17-28, 2020). Fans will be seeing him in Paris for the first time in a larger theatre, the 1465 capacity Casino de Paris, which is more than double the size of his previous venue the Alhambra. He will be touring France, Belgium & Switzerland this fall with 24 shows from October 24th to December 18th.

It’s been an incredible couple of years for Sugar Sammy. He was introduced to the greater American public through two of its most prestigious daily papers, with a feature that appeared on the front page of the international edition of the  New York Times as well as an interview on the front page of the Washington Post’s Arts section. In Canada he was profiled last year on CTV’s national newsmagazine W5, which visited with him in both Montreal and Paris.

His Canadian & U.S success stories were just the beginning. Sammy’s popularity continues to skyrocket in France where Parisian’s don’t seem to realize he wasn’t born there! He won “Best Comedian” in the Le Parisien magazine’s prestigious countdown of 2018’s hottest performing arts and television stars in their annual Les Étoiles du Parisien show. He will also return to the judges’ panel for season 14 of Fremantle’s La France a un Incroyable Talent (the French version of America’s Got Talent). This is one of France’s most popular TV shows, with ratings averaging 3.5 million viewers per episode and airs on the M6 network. His cover might eventually be blown but it’ll be too late; he’s already been embraced as one of their own.

Prior to his international conquests, his bilingual show, You’re Gonna Rire combined with its all-French version En français svp!, presented in his home town of Montreal and across the province, had a total of 421 sold-out performances and sold 372,000 tickets. Then, in 2016, he performed the hit bilingual show one last time in front of a record-breaking crowd of over 115,000 outdoors at the Montreal International Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

He is currently on a coast-to-coast Canadian tour until October 12, with tour dates remaining to be played in Calgary October 3rd, Edmonton October 4th, Surrey October 5th, Vancouver October 6th, Brampton October 11th and Toronto October 12th.

With the federal elections in full swing, we’re not sure who needs to be warned first: the fans in France, Belgium & Switzerland who are about to experience his hilariously sarcastic and satirical wit or the politicians he is certain to rip into!
